Your first visit to Integral Chiropractic
We understand that visiting a chiropractor for the first time can feel unfamiliar. Here's what you can expect during your visit to help you feel prepared and comfortable.
1. Paperwork & Check-In
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete your new patient paperwork. You'll provide information about your health history, current symptoms, and goals for treatment. If you prefer, you can complete forms online before your visit.
What to bring:
- • Photo ID and insurance card
- • List of current medications
- • Any relevant medical records or imaging
- • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
2. Consultation
You'll meet with your chiropractor for a thorough consultation. This is your opportunity to discuss your symptoms, how they affect your daily life, what treatments you've tried, and what you hope to achieve. We take time to listen and understand your unique situation.
3. Examination
We'll perform a comprehensive examination that may include:
- Posture and gait analysis
- Range of motion testing
- Orthopedic and neurological tests
- Palpation of the spine and affected areas
- X-rays if clinically necessary
4. Diagnosis & Treatment Plan
Based on our findings, we'll explain your diagnosis in terms you can understand. We'll discuss your treatment options and create a personalized care plan tailored to your needs and goals. Many patients receive their first adjustment on the same day.
